Now the brewmaster, who has long been a silent admirer of the widow, sees his moment. To show Wally who really loves her, he hatches a spooky plan together with the shepherd Sixtus. The deceased bridegroom must go around as a ghost, then the false suitors will stay away. Unfortunately, the gravedigger has the same idea, without the one knowing about the other. From then on, the small community has no peace, because it is haunted...
